Innessa Colaiacovo is a doctoral student in the Strategy Unit at HBS. Her primary research interests are in entrepreneurship and labor markets.
Her job market paper [coming soon] draws on a novel survey experiment, the Hiring at Top Startups Study, to explore the hiring and compensation-setting practices of founders of young, high-potential U.S. firms.
Prior to HBS, She earned her AB in Economics and French Studies from Brown University (magna cum laude) in 2012, and her MSc in Economics in 2018. She subsequently worked as a Research Assistant at the National Bureau of Economic Research in Cambridge, MA and at IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. She also spent a year working in the Canadian House of Commons as part of the Parliamentary Internship Programme.
